To Go Artificial Grass or Not? Part 4

As the seasons change and my backyard area becomes drier and more desperately in need of reincarnation.....I continue my informational pursuit of replacing it with artificial grass.  Having found the phone number, on line, of the distributor of the sample I liked, I took a chance and called them directly.

To Go Artificial Grass or Not? Part 2

As I take you on my pursuit to gather information about whether to install artificial lawn to conserve water, I continue to chronicle my process here at SallySaveWater.com. How Much Water Does It Take to Process a Quarter Pound of Hamburger?

Approximately one gallon says the EPA.

I enjoy an occasional good hamburger.....But, think about this: Farmers need water to grow grass for the cattle, the meat needs factory processing, you use water to wash your hands before you prepare the meat and water to wash up after you have touched raw meat....and water for clean up of plates, pan, etc. after you have eaten it!

Just something to think about. There is water in our food, even if we can't see it.
